How are ratings calculated?
Ratings are calculated using Evan Miller's method (based on a Wilson score confidence interval) that is self-correcting. This means that the % of positive ratings & number of ratings decide a mods position on the top charts. The benefit of this approach is a mod with 2 positive ratings will not outrank one with 10 positive ratings but 2 negative. Nor will a mod with tons of rankings outrank everything unless most of the ratings are positive.
Rating levels
Ratings range from overwhelmingly positive to overwhelmingly negative. The color changes depending where on the scale the mod fits.

It's a nice map but a bit more elevation difference would do wonders. I'm not talking about making some 1000m tall island but, you know, something to keep some speed.

glad to see a new super nice map appear, it's a bit flat but a lot of jumping to do, thank you for your work, even if it's flat we manage to have speed and the jumps go very well
thank you and good ride to all

Hey there. Glad to hear that you like the map!
Indeed, compared to many other maps and levels in general, this one is flat.
But I can also imagine that this offers new possibilities for people peferring a "slow paced" riding style.
Maybe people that usually do big jumps can also find it interesting because you have to plan your route, jumps and tricks more carefully as you can lose e.g. the speed required to do one of the following jumps.
But I look forward to see how people use the situation and make the best of it :D
Have fun.
